Rolo Cookies

My sister gave me a cute cookie jar for my birthday this year. I feel obligated to keep it full of homemade cookies.

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup butter

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking soda

3/4 cup cocoa

2 3/4 cup flour

Rolos (about 60)

Cream sugars and butter together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
Add dry ingredients and blend.
For each cookie, shape about 1 Tbs. of dough around a Rolo, covering it completely.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 7-8 minutes at 375° or until they start to crack.
Makes about 5 dozen.
